New Zealand Association of Convenience Stores (NZACS)
Profile
As of February 2007 The Australasian Association of Convenience Stores' New Zealand Chapter will now be independantly recognised as the New Zealand Association of Convenience Stores or NZACS.
The New Zealand chapter of AACS was formed in 2002 and is the only body that represents Convenience Store retailers and their suppliers in New Zealand. It's membership base has seen steady growth since its conception and now New Zealand's strong and ever expanding convenience industry is being recognised and represented as an association in itself.
The NZACS is overseen by a board of Directors that is elected from its New Zealand membership base. The board meets 3 times per annum and deals with issues that ensure that Members' interests are fully represented by NZACS.
All of the members benefits offered under the AACS banner will continue for NZACS members. New Zealand State of Industry Report, Retail & Suppliers members lists, Training, Industry Meetings and Events, Industry Awards Dinner and the Annual Gerneral Meeting. An exclusive NZACS travel package will also continue to be offered for the AACS Convention held in September annually.
