Every Lidl helps…
An all out price war is on the cards as discount store Lidl launches a bargain women’s fashion range that includes posh chiffon shirts for just £5.99.
The budget chain is taking on supermarket chic labels George at Asda, Sainsbury’s Tu line and Tesco’s F&F with it’s collection of cut price pieces like trend setting faux leather biker jackets for £14.99.
And it is aiming to give cheap-as-chips fashion stores Primark and New Look a run for their money.
With jeans for £6.99, denim shirts for £5.99 and boots for under a tenner, the collection is set for a sell out when it launches across 600 stores on Monday.

The must-have leather jackets in two styles are set to be a hit along with skinny jeans in grey, blue wash, navy or maroon in sizes 10-18.
In a first for the budget chain, the women’s range includes lace up pumps for £6.99 and is expected to woo even more shoppers away from the major supermarkets as well as cut price high street fashion stores.
Lidl admitted it had been closely monitoring the UK clothes market and said: “This promotion was very much a natural progression for us.”
The chain’s fashion buyer Josie Stone added: “This is the first time ever that we’ve done such a high-end fashion promotion and we’re hugely excited about launching these lines.

“Not only are these jackets bang on trend for this season but they’re also £15 a pop, which is unbeatable value for such high quality. So we’d advise customers to be quick getting down to stores on 25th because they’re likely to be snapped up very quickly.”
And a men’s clothing range will hit shelves in November.
Experts said Lidl’s catwalk look at rock bottom prices would shake up the value market and Glen Tooke, an analyst at Kantar Worldpanel said: “Discount supermarkets have a history of disrupting the fashion market.
“When Aldi stocked a range of back to school clothing last year, offering a full uniform for just £4, it took 4.2% of all uniform sales. Clearly, there are opportunities at the discount end of the market, particularly if products are promoted well.”
