What does the program cover?
The Convenience Store Merchandising and Operation Principles workshops are a comprehensive introduction to planning and operating a successful convenience store.
This year we have 2 workshops scheduled and each workshop will take place over 3 days.
Melbourne: June 26th, 27th and 28th
Brisbane: August 21st, 22nd and 23rd
The workshops are run by AACS training partners atmp - training and skill development. atmp has many years experience in running retail training programs, specialising in the service station and convenience store channel of trade.
Each workshop is facilitated and includes a number of assignment and projects to be completed during the 3 day period.

How does the program work?
Groups of participants will analyse , research and prepare a development strategy for a new convenience store and present their strategy to the facilitators and the workshop group.
Successful program participants who reach the required level of competence during the workshop will receive Statements of Attainment from Certificate III and IV in Retail Operations and Management.
The program also provides ideal pre-learning for the Convenience Store Simulation Workshops
For the people who are unable to attend these interactive workshops we are still offering this course as a distance learning/correspondence program
Completing the workshops in this format provide you with a comprehensive introduction to planning and operating a successful convenience store. Through simple stages you will analyse demographics, design a new convenience store, arrange layouts, decide product ranges and merchandising and develop new business processes.
