Superior Sales Force to Innovate its Business Model
Since 1999 Superior Sales Force has been a leader in service to the P&C and Route trade markets as well as a strong player in grocery. Jamie Lobina, CEO and founding partner explains; “when we started in 1999 it was about giving client companies the street-wise field-expertise to launch new products”.
As the market changed so did the SSF model as the business moved towards longer-term contracts providing larger teams for major companies including among others Coca Cola Amatil, Vodafone Australia, Sanitarium Health Foods and Bayer Australia.
SSF became the go-to company in the Route and Petrol& Convenience markets for product launches and on-going service provision.
As the majors put more and more pressure on their suppliers for cost reduction and greater support, the pressure is also felt across the rest of the market.
Many suppliers are looking at ways to modify their sales teams or service provision and they also are seeking advice on how to best strategize these changes.
